Job summary

AIA New Zealand is seeking an experienced Enterprise Delivery Programme Lead to drive end-to-end delivery of major business and technology initiatives. You will work with sponsors, business leaders, delivery teams and external partners to achieve shared outcomes while navigating complexity with confidence.

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Delivery, you will lead cross-functional delivery, balance governance, risk and value realisation, and help shape how AIA delivers meaningful outcomes for

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading complex programmes, projects or delivery initiatives across business and technology environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, building trust across diverse groups.
• Ability to navigate complexity, assess risks and make sound delivery decisions.
• Experience coordinating work across agile, waterfall or blended delivery approaches.
• Experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments is advantageous.
• Qualifications in Business or Technology, plus project management or agile certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, Scrum).

• Lead the delivery of complex strategic initiatives aligned with organisational priorities and deliver measurable business value.
• Build trusted partnerships across business, technology and vendor teams to create alignment and drive outcomes.
• Coordinate delivery activities across multiple initiatives, balancing priorities and resources to maintain momentum.
• Drive informed decision-making through reporting on scope, timelines, financials, risks and delivery performance.
• Manage risks and issues proactively to support quality, compliance and delivery confidence.
• Champion continuous improvement by enhancing delivery practices and ways of working across the enterprise.
