Job summary

Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC) in New Zealand seeks a project-focused professional to join our Strategic Delivery team. You will provideProject Management expertise across LIC, supporting key strategic projects and a future pipeline of work.

You will liaise with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external service providers to achieve strong outcomes and ensure project details and budgets stay on track.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience as a Project Manager, or business manager with demonstrable abilities and a track record of responsibility for successful delivery of Information Security maturity and organisational change projects
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution capabilities
• Proven capability to stay calm and organised when faced with multiple projects within tight deadlines
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship building skills
• Process focused and detail orientated
• Flexible attitude, open to change and able to cope in an ever-changing environment

Responsibilities

• Navigate and manage organisational change and communications with ease.
• Contribute innovative ideas for efficient project progress.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members for positive action and accountability.
• Proactively identify and manage dependencies, change and risk, determining critical paths and devising contingency plans.
• Facilitate seamless transition from project delivery to operational support.
• Collaboratively define OKRs for success.
• Manage and maintain accurate project records and contractual obligations including timely reporting.
