Job summary

Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC) in Hamilton seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead strategic IT projects and drive delivery across the organisation. You will coordinate internal teams, stakeholders and external service providers to achieve results with strong governance and communication.

You will excel at change management, risk mitigation and ensuring on-time delivery in a complex enterprise environment, while maintaining detailed project records and reporting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience as a Project Manager or similar role with delivery of information security maturity and organisational change projects
• Strong communication, negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities
• Proven ability to stay calm and organised with multiple projects and tight deadlines
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
• Detail oriented with a process focus and ability to adapt in a changing environment
• Willingness to listen to stakeholders and translate insights into outcomes

Responsibilities

• Navigate and manage organisational change and communications.
• Contribute innovative ideas for efficient project progress.
• Coach, mentor and motivate project team members for accountability.
• Identify and manage dependencies, changes and risks; define critical paths and contingencies.
• Facilitate seamless transition from project delivery to operations.
• Collaboratively define OKRs for project success.
• Maintain accurate project records and monitor contractual obligations including reporting.
