Job summary

Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC) invites a capable R&D leader to manage a portfolio of scientific and business projects. You will work with scientists, technical experts, and stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget, aligning with LIC's strategic goals and the future of New Zealand dairy.

You will influence innovation, support customer success and help shape the dairy industry's future. This role is based near Hamilton with flexible working options.

Qualifications

Experience leading and delivering multiple research projects.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to balance long-term goals with day-to-day delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate research projects from planning through to delivery.
Ensure milestones, budgets, timelines and reporting are met.
Provide leadership across a portfolio of scientific projects.
Develop budgets, forecasts and resource plans.
Foster collaboration across teams and external partners.
Oversee contracts and external service providers.
Support protection of LIC's intellectual property and freedom to operate.
