Job summary

Trust Waikato is seeking a strategic planning professional to support the implementation of its strategy, coordinate planning and reporting, and provide research and analysis to inform decisions.

This role focuses on governance papers, reporting to management and trustees, and driving improvements across community outcomes in the Waikato region.

Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification in strategic planning, business, management, planning, community development, or related field
  • Strong written communication and report-writing skills
  • Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Experience delivering projects or intiatives involving multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confidence building relationships and working collaboratively with others
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and learning
  • Exposure to community development, philanthropy, local government, central government, iwi, Maaori development or not-for-profit environments would be advantageous

  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, organisational learning and impact evaluation activities.
