Job summary

AlphaCon Solutions - Alpha Consulting Limited in Auckland seeks an experienced Stormwater Team Leader to lead delivery of stormwater projects and mentor engineers. A Senior/Principal track or established Team Leader role offers a collaborative, technically strong environment with growth opportunities.

You will lead projects from concept to construction, provide technical guidance, mentor staff, manage budgets and develop client relationships across civil, environmental, and water infrastructure

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• CPEng or working towards Chartered status.
• 8+ years’ experience in stormwater or water infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of stormwater networks, catchment planning, flood management and hydraulic design.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for developing people and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead stormwater projects from concept through to construction.
• Provide technical review and guidance to project teams.
• Mentor and develop junior and intermediate engineers.
• Manage project budgets, programmes and resources.
• Build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Support business development and proposal preparation.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams across civil, environmental and water infrastructure projects.
