Foodstuffs NZ is seeking a hands-on leader to head the Inwards Goods team in our busy store environment. You will supervise receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming goods and drive safety and quality in all processes.

You will work Tuesday to Saturday, 5am starts, lead and train staff, coordinate with other teams, and ensure accurate stock control while complying with Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations.

Qualifikationen

• Storeroom/logistics experience, preferably in high-volume environments.
• Forklift license is required.
• Proven leadership of a team.
• Excellent communication skills with people at all levels.
• Comfortable with hands-on teamwork in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to train and develop staff.
• Commitment to Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations.

We are looking for a great leader, team player and someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment to lead our Inwards Goods team.

Your day to day:

• Supervise and lead the Inwards Goods team in the receipt, inspection, and storage of all incoming goods
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to incoming shipments
• Implement and enforce proper storage and handling procedures to maintain the quality of products
• Oversee the maintenance of a clean and organised Inwards Goods area, adhering to Health & Safety regulations
• Train and develop the Inwards Goods team to enhance their skills and performance
• Collaborate with the management team to contribute to the overall success of the supermarket

What we are looking for:

• Do you have storeroom / logistics experience particularly in high volume goods?
• Are you physically fit and able to move a large volume of stock each shift?
• Do you enjoy working in a busy team environment?
• Are you an excellent communicator with people at all levels?
• Do you have a forklift license with relevant experience?
• Are you available to start in the near future?
• Are you willing to comply with all Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations?

This is role is 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday, with 5AM starts.
