Farmlands Te Whenua Tāroa is seeking a Storeperson for our Te Puke branch, working 32 hours per week. The role focuses on deliveries, unloading/loading stock, and serving customers on the shop floor.

The back store operation is vital to our performance; we seek a candidate with a strong work ethic who thrives in a fast-paced and demanding environment while keeping things fun and collaborative.

Qualifications

• Experience in storeroom/retail or warehouse environments with forklift.
• F endorsement.
• Physically fit to lift 25kg.
• Good computer skills.
• Friendly, approachable with strong communication.
• Team player with ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior service to customers and freight companies.

• Maintain and receipting of stock.
• Restock and organise products in bulk store and stockroom.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Storeperson to join the team at our Te Puke branch, working 32 hours per week. This role has a focus on deliveries and the unloading/loading of stock and well as serving customers on the shop floor.

The back store operation is vital to our performance, so it is critical we get the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and thrives working in an environment that is fun while being fast-paced and demanding.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing superior service to our customers and freight companies.
• Operating a point of sale (POS) system.
• Completing administrative tasks such as maintaining and receipting of stock.
• Restocking and organising our product in the bulk store and stockroom.
• Compliance of health and safety regulations within a transport and stockroom environment.

Mōhou ake | About you

• Previous experience working in a storeroom, either within a retail or warehouse environment using a forklift.
• An F endorsement.
• You’re physically fit (able to lift 25kg consecutively).
• Sound computer skills.
• Friendly and approachable with great communication skills.
• You work well in a team.
• Confident at multitasking and able to remain calm under pressure.
