Job summary

Farmlands Rangiora is seeking a Storeperson to join our team, working 40 hours per week with a focus on deliveries, stock unloading/loading, and frontline service on the shop floor. In a busy retail/warehouse environment you will operate a POS system, maintain stock, and help with safety compliance while delivering friendly, efficient service to customers and freight partners.

• Experience in storeroom retail or warehouse environment with forklift is required.
• F endorsement is required.
• Must be physically fit (able to lift 25kg).
• Sound computer skills and numerical literacy.
• Friendly, approachable with good communication, works well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior service to customers and freight partners.
• Operate a point of sale (POS) system.
• Perform stock-related admin tasks such as receipting and stock maintenance.
• Restock and organise products in bulk store and stockroom.
• Ensure health and safety compliance in a transport/stockroom environment.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Storeperson to join the team at our Rangiora branch, working 40 hours per week. This role has a focus on deliveries and the unloading/loading of stock and well as serving customers on the shop floor.

The back store operation is vital to our performance, so it is critical we get the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and thrives working in an environment that is fun while being fast-paced and demanding.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing superior service to our customers and freight companies.
• Operating a point of sale (POS) system.
• Completing administrative tasks such as maintaining and receipting of stock.
• Restocking and organising our product in the bulk store and stockroom.
• Compliance of health and safety regulations within a transport and stockroom environment.

Mōhou ake | About you

• Previous experience working in a storeroom, either within a retail or warehouse environment using a forklift.
• An F endorsement.
• You're physically fit (able to lift 25kg consecutively).
• Sound computer skills.
• Friendly and approachable with great communication skills.
• You work well in a team.
• Confident at multitasking and able to remain calm under pressure.
