Job summary

DKSH Palmerston North Distribution Centre is seeking a reliable Storeperson on a fixed-term contract from ASAP through to 15 January 2027. This hands‑on role supports inwards goods, replenishment, picking and despatch in a busy warehouse environment.

You will need strong numeracy, good attention to detail, and a collaborative approach. Hours: Mon–Thu 9:00–18:30, Fri 10:00–14:00. Forklift licence and MPI accreditation are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in distribution, warehousing or logistics.
• Strong numeracy skills and ability to check quantities, dates and documentation.
• High attention to detail with ability to follow processes under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process inwards goods accurately and on time.
• Maintain replenished pick locations with accurate stock records.
• Perform bulk and fast‑pick order processing with speed and accuracy.
• Prepare loads for despatch within required timelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised warehouse environment.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Storeperson to join our Palmerston North Distribution Centre on a fixed-term contract starting ASAP through to 15th January 2027. This is a hands‑on role in a busy warehouse environment, supporting inwards goods, replenishment, picking, and despatch activities.

Hours

• Monday – Thursday: 9.00am – 6.30pm
• Friday: 10.00am – 2.00pm

What You Will Deliver

• Accurate and timely receipt and processing of inwards goods, including container devanning and stock verification
• Well‑maintained and replenished pick locations with accurate stock records
• Bulk picking and fast‑pick order processing completed with speed and precision
• Consolidated and prepared loads ready for despatch within required timelines
• A clean, safe, and well‑organised work environment through consistent adherence to health and safety procedures

What You Bring

• Experience in distribution, warehousing, or logistics
• Strong numeracy skills and confidence checking quantities, dates, and documentation
• High attention to detail with the ability to follow processes and work efficiently under time pressure
• A positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to team goals
• Physical fitness and comfort with repetitive lifting (up to 20kg)
• Forklift licence and MPI accreditation – desirable
• Experience devanning containers – an advantage
