RealNZ is seeking a Stores Truck Driver to move food and freight around Walter Peak, supporting kitchen and store operations. You’ll check deliveries, load/unload vessels, manage stock and temperature checks, and keep loading bays clean.

Outdoor work, weather exposure, and teamwork are essential. You’ll assist with firewood and BBQ prep, help welcome guests, and contribute to a smooth daily rhythm across venues.

Formación

• Must hold a full NZ driver’s licence.
• Experience with manual handling.
• Positive can‑do attitude and ability to work well in a team.
• Comfort working outdoors, on the water, and around vessels.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver food and freight around Walter Peak, ensuring items are checked, recorded and stored.
• Load and unload vessels and vehicles, assist with arrivals and departures.
• Manage stores rooms: stock rotation, daily stocktakes, temperature checks and safe handling.
• Keep loading bays, wharves and adjacent areas clean and tidy.
• Support Rural team with firewood and BBQ prep; assist vessel operations.

We're looking for a reliable and proactiveStores Truck Driverto support kitchen and store operations, help manage deliveries, and contribute to the daily rhythm of life at Walter Peak.

In this role, you'll safely transport produce and prepared food between kitchen, vessels, and storage areas, accurately checking deliveries and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. You'll support kitchen and stores operations by managing daily stocktakes, monitoring freezer and chiller temperatures, and ensuring safe food handling and hygiene. Daily tasks include keeping loading bays tidy, managing rubbish and recycling, assisting with firewood collection and BBQ prep, and supporting vessel arrivals and departures. You'll also help welcome guests at Walter Peak, offering directions when needed, while maintaining high standards across all workspaces.

What you'll be doing:

• Delivering food and freight around the Walter Peak property, ensuring goods are accurately checked, recorded, and stored
• Loading and unloading vessels and vehicles, including catching lines for the TSS Earnslaw on arrival and assisting departures
• Managing stores rooms: stock rotation, daily stocktakes, temperature checks, and safe food handling standards
• Keeping the loading bay, wharves, and surrounding areas clean and tidy
• Assisting the Rural team with firewood, and stacking wood/charcoal for BBQ service

What you'll bring:

• A full NZ driver's licence (any commercial driving experience an advantage)
• Experience with manual handling
