Job summary

DIALOG Fitzroy Ltd in Wellington is seeking an organised and safety‑focused Store Person to support workshop and project teams. In this hands‑on role you will manage issue, return, maintenance and documentation of materials, tools and PPE, and ensure stores operate accurately to support project delivery.

This permanent, part‑time position offers a fast‑paced environment with a focus on accuracy, teamwork and safety, and will involve coordination with workshop personnel, procurement and logistics

Qualifications

  • Mandatory: Class 1 Full Licence.
  • Computer literacy and experience with inventory management systems.
  • Preferred: experience in stores, warehousing, logistics, procurement, or inventory management.
  • Forklift endorsement with current OSH certificate.
  • Dangerous Goods endorsement and DG documentation experience.
  • Experience in industrial, engineering, or heavy machinery environments.
  • Experience managing assets, PPE, tools, equipment, or plant registers.
  • Exposure to purchasing, supplier coordination, goods receipt/dispatch, and order tracking.
  • Experience coordinating vehicle fleets or plant maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory & Stores Management – Manage inventory, assets, stocktakes, PPE, and stores controls.
  • Procurement & Logistics – Maintain stock levels, coordinate goods movement, track orders, and support purchasing.
  • Workshop & Project Support – Issue materials and equipment, coordinate resources, and support equipment maintenance.
  • Vehicle & Transport Coordination – Manage vehicle compliance and servicing, and complete local deliveries and collections.
  • Systems & Documentation – Process ERP transactions and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Safety & Compliance – Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with HSE and equipment requirements.

We're seeking an organised and safety-focused Store Person to support our workshop and project teams. In this hands‑on role, you'll manage the issue, return, maintenance, and documentation of materials, tools, equipment, and PPE; maintain accurate stores operations; and ensure resources are available to support project delivery.

About the Role

As a key member of the Stores team, you will be responsible for the control, issue, return, and documentation of all materials, consumables, tools, and equipment. You’ll work closely with workshop personnel, project teams, procurement, and logistics to ensure the right materials are available at the right time.
