STMS in Hamilton, NZ is seeking an experienced STMS to join the team. This hands-on role blends temporary traffic management with civil labouring across diverse projects. Start date is immediate and pay ranges from $32–$35 per hour.

You will set up, monitor and remove TTM sites, implement TMPs, install cones and barriers, and manage vehicle, cyclist and pedestrian movements. You’ll also supervise crew, assist with civil works, and work safely around live traffic and machinery; AM and PM shifts

Competenze

• Experience as a Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS).
• Practical knowledge of temporary traffic management (TTM).
• Ability to work independently and with civil crews.
• WTR endorsements and Class 2 licence are advantageous.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for keeping TTM sites safe and compliant while also getting involved with general civil construction when required.

• Set up, maintain, monitor, and remove temporary traffic management sites.
• Implement approved TMPs and complete required site checks, documentation, and inspections.
• Install and position cones, signs, barriers, delineators, and other TTM equipment.
• Manage vehicle, cyclist, and pedestrian movements safely around worksites.

What We’re Looking For
