Fulton Hogan Ltd in Wellington is seeking a Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) to lead on-site traffic control for our NZ road and infrastructure projects. You will ensure safe work sites, implement NZTA-compliant traffic management plans, and communicate with crew, contractors and the client.

We look for hands-on STMS experience, a valid STMS warrant (Cat A/B/C), a Class 1 license (Class 2 preferred), and strong H&S knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must hold minimum Class 1 Full license; Class 2 preferred.
• Valid STMS warrant/qualification (Cat A/B/C).
• Hands-on STMS experience on site.
• Strong knowledge of H&S and roadworks regulations.
• Experience leading a crew and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Good communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Traffic Management Operatives on site.
• Ensure proper signage, barriers, cones and safety equipment.
• Manage traffic incidents and emergencies on site.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors and client.
• Maintain effective communication with crew and public.

You will implement traffic management plans that comply with NZTA standards, as well as identifying and mitigating potential safety risks on site.
