Qualifications

• Must hold NZ Sterilising Technology Certificate Level 4 or approved equivalent.
• Experience in sterile sciences, CSSD, or healthcare environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and patient safety.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive approach to learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, sterilise, and prepare reusable medical devices and surgical instruments.
• Work within the Perioperative Unit to support surgical teams and patient care.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
