Job summary

GAZI CONSTRUCTIONS LIMITED in Auckland, North Island, is seeking a full-time permanent Steel Erector/Reinforcement for our busy team. The role involves erecting structures, attaching reinforcing steel for concrete pours, and ensuring safe, accurate installation in formwork.

The minimum weekly hours are 30 and maximum 45. Wage range is NZD 29.66–33.00 per hour. Candidates must pass a background check and be a NZ citizen or resident if possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years relevant experience.
• Workplace first aid knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Erecting lifting tackles by attaching pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures.
• Installing cables and attaching counterweights and reinforcing steel in formwork for concrete pours.
• Measuring, cutting, bending and fitting welded wire mesh into concrete areas for reinforcement.
• Fixing mesh and reinforcing steel into position in formwork for concrete pours.
• Attaching slinging gear to hoisting equipment and objects to be moved with clamps, hooks, bolts and knots.
• Erecting non-notifiable scaffolding and calculating & slinging regular loads.

GAZI CONSTRUCTIONS LIMITED – Auckland, North Island

Full time permanent Steel Erector/ reinforcement requires for our busy company.
The minimum work will be 30 hours pw and maximum will be 45 hours pw. The
minimum wage is $29.66 ph and maximum wages will be $33.00ph. Candidate
should pass a background check and be physically fit. New Zealand citizen or
resident will be preferable.

Tasks Include:

• erecting lifting tackles by attaching pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead

• Able to do fixing mesh and reinforcing steel into position in formwork for
