Job summary

Argenta is seeking an Analytical Supervisor to lead the Starting Materials QC team in Auckland. You will guide analytical and review chemists, ensure GMP-compliant release of starting materials, and partner with the Head of QC to drive continuous improvement.

The role is Monday to Friday in a fast-paced environment, focusing on health, safety and quality while delivering timely material releases and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• Tertiary science qualification is required.
• Experience in a GMP manufacturing lab is essential.
• Strong knowledge of wet chemistry and analytical testing.
• Understanding of sampling raw materials.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations and HSE NZ legislation.
• Highly organised, flexible and able to adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Starting Materials QC team and coach analytical/ review chemists.
• Drive compliant release of starting materials under GMP.
• Update documentation, lead investigations and write reports.
• Champion continuous improvement projects within the team.
