Job summary

Argenta is seeking a Senior Development Chemist to lead analytical method development, validation, and regulatory support for an animal health portfolio. The role involves contributing to PoC-to-registration projects and delivering high-quality documentation for global regulatory submissions.

You will manage multi-national client relationships, drive project success, and mentor team members in a fast-growing business with onsite parking in South Auckland. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• Minimum 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong analytical technique knowledge and documentation skills.
• Experience with validation protocols and regulatory support.
• Proactive, independent, and collaborative mindset.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses, development and validation of analytical methods.
• Lead analytical projects from technical and customer perspectives.
• Generate, document and review technical data for clients and regulators.
• Meet project deadlines and milestones.
• Communicate project progress to stakeholders internally and externally.
• Provide technical training and mentoring to team members.
