Job summary

Higgins is seeking an experienced Specialist Operator to join our Auckland Chipsealing Crew. You will operate the bitumen sprayer, delivering precise application and quality surfacing across road maintenance projects.

Ideally you hold a Class 4 Driver Licence (Class 5 a bonus) with WTR endorsement and preferably Dangerous Goods. We value safety, reliability, and a collaborative team spirit in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sprayer Operator in chipsealing or road surfacing.
• A Class 4 Driver Licence is essential; Class 5 is an advantage.
• WTR endorsement; Dangerous Goods endorsement preferred.

The Higgins Green Team is looking for an experienced Specialist Operator to join our Auckland Chipsealing Crew. If you're skilled in operating a bitumen sprayer and take pride in delivering high-quality surfacing work, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the bitumen sprayer, ensuring accurate application and quality outcomes across a range of road maintenance and construction projects.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience as a Sprayer Operator within Chipsealing or road surfacing
• A Class 4 Driver Licence is essential, with a Class 5 Licence being an advantage
• WTR endorsement
• Dangerous Goods endorsement preferred (we'll support you to gain this if needed)
• A safety-first attitude, with a commitment to keeping yourself, your team, and the public safe
• A team-player mindset, with the flexibility and reliability to work in all conditions, rain or shine
• Passion for the industry, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow
