Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a qualified Sonographer to join the Radiology team across Waitākere and North Shore Hospitals. Opportunities exist for permanent, part-time and full-time hours with negotiable arrangements.

The role offers teaching involvement and extensive professional development in a busy imaging department. You will have general and obstetric ultrasound experience, with vascular exposure preferred, and hold NZ MROT registration with a current annual practising

• Current annual practicing certificate required.
• General and obstetric experience essential; vascular experience preferred.
• Commitment to teaching and contributing to the training of others.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations across general, obstetric, vascular and some musculoskeletal areas.
• Work across Waitākere Hospital and North Shore Hospital in a busy radiology team.
• Contribute to teaching and knowledge sharing within the imaging department.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

About the Role We have an opportunity for a qualified Sonographer to join our Radiology team, based across Waitākere Hospital (271 Beds) and North Shore Hospital (631 Beds). Te Whatu Ora, Waitematā District serves an ever-growing population of over 640,000 people, throughout the communities in the western and northern regions of Auckland. We have permanent part time and full time opportunities available. One of the attractions is the opportunity to work as part of a dynamic imaging team. These busy ultrasound departments will offer you work that will be varied and interesting including general, obstetrics, paediatric, vascular and some musculoskeletal examinations.
