Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in Auckland is seeking a Sonographer for Middlemore Hospital on a permanent or fixed-term basis. You will contribute to diverse ultrasound services across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Examinations include general, obstetrics and gynaecology, small parts, musculoskeletal, paediatric, neonatal and vascular. The role offers a supportive, mentoring MDT and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registered with the NZ Medical Radiation Technologist Board as a Sonographer.
• General or sub-speciality experience preferred.
• Working within a multidisciplinary team and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad variety of ultrasound examinations.
• Contribute to inpatient and outpatient services across two locations.
• Engage in mentoring and training within a supportive team.

Remuneration as per the APEX Sonographers MECA Between step 1 $113,511.00 to $141,088 dependant on experience

As a Sonographer at Counties Manukau District, you will be challenged clinically, offering care and services to our hugely diverse multicultural community.

There is the opportunity to do a broad variety of examinations including general, Obstetrics and gynaecology, small parts, musculoskeletal, paediatric, neonatal and vascular examinations.

There is a wealth of collective experience, providing a multidisciplinary team approach in a supportive, mentoring and training environment.

About the Team/Service/Location

Our team of Sonographers offer both an inpatient and outpatient service over two locations, Middlemore Hospital an 800 bedded acute hospital and Manukau Health park.
