Job summary

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Sonographer for Counties Manukau District, Auckland. You will perform a broad range of examinations including general, obstetrics and gynaecology, small parts, musculoskeletal, paediatric, neonatal and vascular, contributing to a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Registered with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologist Board as a Sonographer.
• General or Sub-speciality experience.
• Working within a Multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general, obstetrics and gynaecology, small parts, musculoskeletal, paediatric, neonatal and vascular examinations.
• Provide patient care within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Work across two locations: Middlemore Hospital and Manukau Health Park.

About the Role

As a Sonographer at Counties Manukau District, you will be challenged clinically, offering care and services to our hugely diverse multicultural community. There is the opportunity to do a broad variety of examinations including general, Obstetrics and gynaecology, small parts, musculoskeletal, paediatric, neonatal and vascular examinations. There is a wealth of collective experience, providing a multidisciplinary team approach in a supportive, mentoring and training environment.

About the Team/Service/ Location

Our team of Sonographers offer both an inpatient and outpatient service over two locations, Middlemore Hospital an 800 bedded acute hospital and Manukau Health park.
