Partly is building AI infrastructure for the repair industry, based in multiple hubs including Auckland. The Solutions Engineer role focuses on aligning customer needs with technical capabilities and leveraging large datasets to drive momentum.

Reporting to the Dismantler Commerce team, you will gain hands-on experience, lead research and development efforts, and create the best possible experience for key customer segments. This role offers growth in a fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• A STEM degree.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively to customers and colleagues.
• Proficiency in data analysis using Python, Pandas, and SQL.
• A logical and structured approach to problem-solving. You often spend time outside of school thinking about complex problems and opportunities for innovation.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment while staying up to date with industry trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Be the customer and super-user of Partly's inventory management system—the Partly PIM—and other apps in the Partly ecosystem, understanding exactly how buyers rely on us to find the right parts for their vehicles.
• Scope, develop, and implement user-focused solutions that leverage the power of the Partly Platform, delivering outstanding results while maximizing customer success throughout a smooth onboarding experience.
• Build integrations.
• Work closely with the Engineering team, providing clear requirements and guidance to develop industry-leading products. Partner with customers throughout rigorous testing phases to iterate on solutions, ensuring they meet established requirements and providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
