Partly is building an AI infrastructure layer for the global repair market, with offices in Austin, NZ, and London. The Solutions Engineer role focuses on building relationships with customers, aligning industry needs with technical capabilities, and accelerating onboarding and adoption of the Partly Platform.

You will work with large datasets, learn quickly, and contribute to the automotive sector. This is an office-first role in Auckland with flexibility and relocation support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Be the customer. Become a super-user of Partly's inventory management system—the Partly PIM—and other apps in the Partly ecosystem, understanding exactly how buyers rely on us to find the right parts for their vehicles.
• Scope, develop, and implement user-focused solutions that leverage the power of the Partly Platform, delivering outstanding results while maximizing customer success throughout a smooth onboarding experience.
• Build integrations.
• Work closely with the Engineering team, providing clear requirements and guidance to develop industry-leading products. Partner with customers throughout rigorous testing phases to iterate on solutions, ensuring they meet established requirements and providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.

Note: Partly is headquartered in Austin, TX with offices in London, UK, Christchurch, NZ and Auckland, NZ. Wherever you're based, we'll connect you with your nearest office for onboarding, and fly you to join the full team for our quarterly \"Season Openers\" (we cover travel and accommodation). This role

In the Solutions Engineer role, you will excel at building strong relationships between our team and our customers, effectively aligning industry needs with customer expectations and technical capabilities. Your experience working with large datasets, ability to quickly learn technical concepts, and passion for the automotive industry will be essential in driving business momentum.

Reporting to the Dismantler Commerce team, your project scope will be broad and varied, providing exceptional learning opportunities that you can apply throughout your career. You will gain hands‑on experience and lead research and development efforts to create the best possible experience for one of our key customer segments.
