Job summary

Stones Electrical Contractors Ltd in Wellington installs solar PV and battery storage for residential and commercial clients. The role is part of a dedicated solar team, supported by project managers, with in-house design and resources.

Training to specialise in solar will be provided to sharp electricians who want to grow. You’ll follow quality designs, complete certifications, and deliver safe, tidy installs that you’d put your name to.

Qualifications

• Registered Electrician with current NZ practising licence.
• Solar PV and battery installation experience preferred.
• Comfortable working at heights and in customer homes/businesses.

Responsibilities

• Install solar PV systems, inverters and battery storage on residential and commercial jobs.
• Complete DC and AC wiring, switchboard work and grid-tie connections to spec.
• Carry out commissioning, testing, fault-finding and system handovers.
• Complete certification, test results and documentation properly, first time
