Job summary

Lightforce Solar is seeking a qualified Solar Electrician to install, test, commission, and maintain residential and commercial solar and battery systems across New Zealand. You will work with experienced teams to ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while delivering across multiple projects.

Qualifications

NZ Electrical Registration and/or NZ Limited Certificate (EWRB) required.
Experience with solar/battery systems is advantageous.
Physically fit with a practical hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

Install, test, commission residential and commercial solar power systems.
Install and maintain PV systems, inverters, battery storage, switchgear, and related equipment.
Interpret electrical drawings, specs and installation docs.
Perform electrical testing, fault finding, repairs and maintenance.
Ensure work complies with NZ electrical standards and safety regulations.
Support teams to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
