Job summary

SIMPLERYO TECHNOLOGY LIMITED is seeking a Software Engineer in Auckland for full-time work (approximately 35 hours weekly). You will analyze requirements, design and develop software, integrate systems and provide ongoing maintenance to deliver digital solutions that improve client operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding in Java, Python and C++, with a focus on reliable, scalable software and technical evaluation to support client projects.

Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant work experience or a relevant bachelor's degree.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet project deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high quality work.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business, operational and system requirements and translate them into software designs and solutions.
• Design and develop software applications and components to meet requirements.
• Write, modify and maintain code following approved designs and standards.
• Design and implement integrations between applications, databases and APIs.
• Test, debug and diagnose software, ensuring performance aligns with specifications.
• Prepare technical documentation and deployment records for solutions.
