Job summary

Serko Ltd. is seeking a capable full-stack engineer to join a team focused on frontend-heavy, data-driven software in the travel and expense tech space.

You will work within agile teams to evolve our stack, especially around Next.js/React, TypeScript, and Tailwind, while contributing to infrastructure automation and continuous delivery. You will help onboard new users, optimize activation and registration flows, and collaborate with product and engineering on scalable, accessible UI patterns and

About the Role

You're a a full-stack engineer with experience in Frontend tools and are interested in learning and applying the technologies and frameworks in our stack, and are experienced working within agile development teams that apply and experiment with practices such as emergent design, infrastructure automation and continuous delivery. You have a willingness to jump into our legacy code to improve it when needed and are excited in learning about how our industry operates!

Requirements

You will play a crucial role in the activation and onboarding of new users into our system. In this position, you'll leverage data-driven insights to support a robust experimentation approach, developing innovative strategies to enhance our methods for attracting and registering new users.

Your efforts will be instrumental in increasing the registration and activation rates of new users on our platform.

• Working in a "build it and run it" environment where engineering teams build, deploy, monitor and support their components that they own

What you'll bring

• Modern Full-Stack & Front-End Craft: Deep technical strength in Next.js/React, TypeScript, and Tailwind, with a sharp eye for building accessible, high-craft, customer-facing applications end-to-end. Working fluency in Python is valued.
• AI & Agentic Fluency: Solid understanding of AI and agentic capabilities, ensuring safe, scalable product adoption while actively using AI-assisted tools to multiply throughput for yourself and surrounding engineers.
• Systems Infrastructure & Platform Integration: Experience integrating shared platform services into live products and strengthening core developer infrastructure (CI/CD, test automation, dev environments) to elevate department-wide reliability and speed, alongside familiarity with Design Systems, component architecture, and responsive/accessible UI patterns.
