Job summary

Te Puna Ora Group is seeking a Social & Health Development Coordinator to drive planning through to operational delivery across whānau-focused health and wellbeing initiatives. You’ll coordinate work plans, timelines and milestones while ensuring resources, policies and workforce needs are in place.

Our Whānau Ora team is focused on developing and improving services that respond to the needs of whānau and our communities. We work across teams and alongside our partners to turn ideas and priorities into practical services, projects and initiatives that can be delivered effectively.

As our Social & Health Development Coordinator, you’ll help take agreed ideas and priorities from planning through to implementation and into operational delivery. You’ll coordinate workplans, timelines, actions and key milestones, while making sure the practical pieces are in place for new services and projects — including workforce, systems, policies, resources and other operational requirements

You’ll work across Finance, HR, administration, managers and frontline teams, as well as with providers, iwi, hapū, community organisations and agencies. You’ll also support service redesign, pathway development, community events, funding opportunities and continuous improvement, keeping track of progress, risks and barriers and providing clear updates along the way.
