Westlake Boys is offering a 6-month Ski & Snowboard Workshop Technician Apprenticeship in Auckland. This program includes comprehensive training and work experience, aimed at preparing participants for specialized roles in the ski industry. Participants will work approximately 37 hours each week at a competitive hourly rate of $23.50 plus 8% holiday pay before tax. Opportunities for international work placements are also available, especially in Japan during the off-season.

Ski & Snowboard Workshop Technician Apprenticeship

Opportunity at Snowcentre, Newmarket Auckland.

On offer: 6 month Snow Technician Apprenticeship which includes training and work experience to become a specialist Snow Workshop Technician.

March/April - September 2025 (possibly longer by arrangement), 5 days per week, 2 days off, approx 37 hours per week.

The hourly rate would be $23.50 plus 8% holiday pay before tax, paid weekly.

Ski and Snowboard Workshop Technicians are highly specialized and are in high demand worldwide.

This 6 month combination of training and working would enable a successful participant to work at ski resorts or ski and snowboard shops all around the world.

Currently many of our technicians work in Japan during our summer and we can assist with positions overseas.
