Job summary

Zento Construction Ltd, based in Auckland, is seeking two skilled and reliable Carpenters to join our team on a full-time basis. The role involves reading plans, measuring and cutting timber, assembling components and installing timber structures on residential and commercial projects.

Candidates should have NZQA Level 4 carpentry qualification or relevant experience, good attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety. NZ residence or valid work visa is required.

Qualifications

• NZQF Level 4 carpentry qualification or 1+ year construction experience.
• Ability to read drawings/specifications and measure accurately.
• Good communication and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans, determine materials and methods.
• Measure, mark, cut and prepare timber to size.
• Assemble and fasten timber components for structures.
• Install walls, frames, fascia panels and cladding.
• Ensure levels and alignment meet specs; maintain site safety.
• Support team with timely carpentry tasks as required.
