Job summary

Lanzhou Beef Noodle Ltd in Mt Eden, Auckland is hiring two cooks for full-time roles with guaranteed hours of 30 per week, though you will normally work around 40 hours.

You will prepare and cook all dishes, season as needed, monitor quality, assist in improving dishes, manage kitchen operations, order supplies, and ensure hygiene and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Two years of cooking experience in Chinese cuisine required.
• A relevant certificate can replace the required work experience.
• Strong can-do attitude, able to work under pressure during peak hours.

• Seasoning food during preparation and cooking when necessary.

Lanzhou Beef Noodle Ltd is located at Mt Eden, Auckland. We provide top-class Lanzhou noodles and other dishes. We now need two Cooks to help us provide top-quality food and service. This is a full-time job with guaranteed hours of 30 hours per week, but you will normally be required to work around 40 hours.

Requirements

• At least two years of work experience in cooking Chinese Cuisine is needed.
• A relevant certificate can replace the required work experience.
• Have a can-do attitude and be able to work under pressure since our restaurant is extremely busy during peak hours.
• You may be required to work during the weekend
• You should also have good attention to detail to make sure everything that goes through your hand is thoroughly clean
