The Role
  • Take full day-to-day responsibility for construction sites and project delivery

  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades and suppliers

  • Read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications and construction documentation

  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and health and safety

  • Coordinate inspections, materials, deliveries and site logistics

  • Identify and resolve issues before they impact programme or quality

  • Maintain clear communication with project managers, clients, consultants and subcontractors

  • Keep accurate site records and project documentation

  • Lead by example and create a professional, productive site environment

About You
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry is essential

  • Strong experience managing construction projects from start to finish

  • Confident leading multiple trades and subcontractors

  • Strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and site management

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills

  • Able to read and interpret plans and technical documentation

  • Strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to quality

  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to deal with clients, consultants and contractors

  • Practical problem solver who can make decisions and keep a project moving

  • Strong health and safety awareness

  • A professional, reliable and proactive approach

  • Relevant construction qualifications are advantageous
