Take full day-to-day responsibility for construction sites and project delivery
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades and suppliers
Plan and manage site programmes, sequencing and daily activities
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification
Read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications and construction documentation
Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and health and safety
Coordinate inspections, materials, deliveries and site logistics
Identify and resolve issues before they impact programme or quality
Maintain clear communication with project managers, clients, consultants and subcontractors
Keep accurate site records and project documentation
Lead by example and create a professional, productive site environment
Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry is essential
Strong experience managing construction projects from start to finish
Confident leading multiple trades and subcontractors
Strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and site management
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Able to read and interpret plans and technical documentation
Strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to quality
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to deal with clients, consultants and contractors
Practical problem solver who can make decisions and keep a project moving
Strong health and safety awareness
A professional, reliable and proactive approach
Relevant construction qualifications are advantageous
