BESIX Watpac in Christchurch is seeking a Site Manager to lead on-site activities for our projects. You will coordinate materials, equipment, personnel and plant, aligning with the project programme and safety standards.

You will work with the Project Manager and Senior Site Manager to allocate resources, monitor progress and ensure quality and compliance with contract documents, delivering high-performance outcomes in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualificações

• Degree/Diploma in building/construction, or other recognised tertiary/trade qualification.
• Demonstrated experience supervising trades on large building projects.
• Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships.
• Ability to deliver results in a high pressure environment.
• Operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening and decision making skills.

Responsabilidades

• Review the construction programme with the Senior Site Manager, re-sequencing activities as necessary to achieve the programmed completion date.
• Ensure that the Company's policies and practices on safety, industrial relations and quality assurance are implemented and monitored.
• Ensure quality and compliance with standards and contract documents.

Job Description

As we continue to build on our success in New Zealand, we currently seek a Site Manager to join our Christchurch team. The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Organise sequencing of on-site activities including the co-ordination of materials, equipment, personnel, and materials handling plant.
• In consultation with the Project Manager and Senior Site Manager, allocate necessary site staff and resources and confirm that all the resources for the project will be available when required.
