Seipp Construction Ltd in Canterbury, Christchurch is seeking a Site Engineer to contribute to the successful delivery of our civil infrastructure projects on site alongside experienced leaders.
You’ll plan and coordinate activities, resolve technical challenges, monitor progress and help maintain safety and quality while learning and advancing toward Chartered status.
The best engineers don't become Project Managers by sitting behind a desk.
They get out on site. They solve problems. They work alongside experienced leaders. They take ownership. They learn by doing.
At Seipp Construction, you'll be trusted with real responsibility from day one while being supported by experienced Project Managers, Project Engineers and Supervisors who want to see you succeed.
If you're looking for a role where you can continue to develop your technical capability, broaden your commercial understanding and build the skills to lead projects in the future, we'd like to hear from you.
At Seipp, we're here to make a difference through infrastructure delivery, creating better lives and healthier communities.
We're a growing New Zealand-owned civil construction company delivering complex infrastructure projects throughout New Zealand. Our teams work across water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, marine works, structures and other technically challenging civil infrastructure.
As we continue to grow, we're investing in our people and creating clear career pathways for engineers who want to build long-term careers.
As a Site Engineer, you'll play an important role in the successful delivery of our projects.
Working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team, you'll help plan and coordinate construction activities, solve technical challenges, monitor progress and support commercial outcomes while ensuring safety and quality remain at the centre of everything we do.
No two days are the same. One day you might be coordinating subcontractors, reviewing drawings and planning upcoming works. The next you'll be assisting with cost forecasting, working through a design issue or supporting the team to deliver a critical construction milestone.
This is a role where you'll continue to learn while making a genuine contribution.
We're looking for someone who enjoys being on site, takes ownership of their work and wants to continue growing as an engineer.
You'll ideally have:
This is more than another Site Engineer role.
You'll join a business where you'll have the opportunity to work across a wide range of technically interesting infrastructure projects while being supported to continue developing your career.
We offer:
Whether your goal is to become a Project Engineer, Project Manager or technical specialist, we'll help you build the experience and capability to get there.
If you're looking for somewhere you can grow, contribute and be proud of the projects you deliver, we'd love to hear from you.
