Mauri, a division of George Weston Foods (NZ) Ltd, is seeking an experienced Shift Miller to operate the Timaru mill, ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are met. The role involves overseeing milling operations, quality sampling, and shift handovers within a collaborative site team.

Applicants should have NZQF level 4 in a related field or 3+ years milling or food manufacturing experience, with SAP/SCADA/MAXIMO familiarity and a commitment to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• NZQF level 4 qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Food Technology, or related field OR 3+ years milling/food manufacturing experience.
• Strong understanding of quality, food safety, and HACCP standards.
• Experience with milling systems, roll stands, sifters, purifiers, and blending operations.

Responsabilités

• Operate and monitor milling operations to meet productivity and quality targets.
• Maintain food safety standards across milling processes.
• Lead shift handovers and communicate targets to incoming staff.
• Supervise Assistant Millers and support on-the-job training.
