Job summary

Toyota Material Handling New Zealand is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our Christchurch team. You'll service and repair forklifts, reach trucks and related equipment, in the workshop or in the field, delivering practical solutions and exceptional customer service.

Ideal candidates will have automotive electrical/mechanical experience, a full driver's licence and a can-do attitude, with WOF experience or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Full driver's licence and clean driving record.
• Strong customer service skills with a proactive attitude.
• Qualified or experienced in automotive heavy, light or electrical.
• WOF approved or willing to obtain WOF approval.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair forklifts, reach trucks and related equipment.
• Carry out servicing and preventative maintenance in workshop or field.
• Provide excellent on-site and workshop support to customers.
• Prepare clear service reports and keep parts/tools organized.
