Job summary

Terra Cat in Rotorua is hiring a Service Specialist to visit customer sites across the Bay of Plenty and Taupo regions in a fully equipped lube truck, keeping Caterpillar machines running at their best.

You will service Caterpillar equipment, perform fluid checks and changes, carry out software upgrades, inspect systems, and complete reports with support from a knowledgeable team. On-site work, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified and experienced heavy diesel technician.
• Full New Zealand driver’s licence (Class 2 preferred).

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain Caterpillar equipment on-site across the Bay of Plenty and Taupo regions.
• Check, change and refill fluids and lubricants; complete filter changes.
• Carry out software upgrades and inspect machine systems and components.
• Perform minor mechanical or body repairs; clean engines and equipment.
• Complete service and inspection reports.
