Job summary

Milking and Water Systems Ltd in Whakatane, North Island, is seeking a Service Engineer to service, maintain, fault-find and repair rotary platforms across dairy sheds in the Bay of Plenty.

The role suits hands-on, mechanically minded individuals who work well in a team or independently, with opportunities for training and development and long-term career progression.

Qualifications

• Engineering or mechanical trade background.
• Experience in maintenance, servicing, hydraulics, mechanical, or industrial equipment (preferred).
• Strong fault-finding ability.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

We’re looking for a motivated and mechanically minded Service Engineer to join our rotary platform team. This role involves servicing, maintaining, fault‑finding, and repairing rotary platforms and associated equipment across a range of dairy sheds in the Bay of Plenty.

What you’ll be doing:

• Service and maintenance of rotary platform systems and equipment
• Fault finding and repairs
• Mechanical troubleshooting
• Preventative maintenance inspections
• Site installations and commissioning
• Working both independently and within a team

• Following health and safety procedures

What we are looking for:

• Engineering or mechanical trade background
• Experience in maintenance, servicing, hydraulics, mechanical, or industrial equipment (preferred)
