Job summary

McLarens Rural Services Ltd in Morrinsville, NZ, is seeking an experienced dairy technician/fitter or someone with transferrable skills to install, test and service milking machine plants and pumps.

The role includes on-call and after-hours work; ideal candidates will have TIG welding experience, stainless steel fabrication, knowledge of dairy shed milking systems, an HT license, a NZ driver’s license, and the ability to work under pressure and in a team.

Qualifications

• Welding experience with TIG and stainless steel fabrication.
• Working knowledge of dairy shed milking systems.
• Ability to quickly pick up new technologies.
• Working knowledge of dairy shed milking systems.
• The applicant should have a sound knowledge of key Health & Safety principles.
• The ability to work well in a team and also unsupervised.
• The ability to work under pressure, be flexible and solution oriented.
• A full NZ drivers license.

McLarens Rural Services is the Morrinsville dealer principal for GEA Farm Technologies supporting Milfos, Westfalia Surge and Houle branded products. We also deal in Lowara, Grundfos and Dab water pumps.

We are looking for an experienced dairy technician/fitter or someone with transferrable skills. This is a varied role which will include installing, testing and servicing milking machine plants & pumps. It will also include rostered on-call & after hours work.

Ideal Skills & Experience:
