Job summary

Foodstuffs South Island Limited is seeking a friendly Service Deli Assistant for New World Ashburton. The role is part-time (20 hours weekly) with Sunday to Thursday shifts from 1:30pm to 5:30pm.

You’ll help deliver great service by preparing fresh foods, serving customers, and keeping deli displays presentable and clean. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, physically fit, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while communicating well with teammates and customers.

As part of our Service Deli team, you’ll help create an outstanding experience for our customers by preparing fresh, quality food and providing friendly, efficient service. From serving customers at the counter to preparing sandwiches, meals, and deli products, you’ll be an important part of keeping the department running smoothly.
