• Provide daily, professional account management to Wellington-area accounts and nationally significant Key Accounts.
• Drive sales of transactional and value-added products for safety, passenger experience and lift reliability.
• Maintain regular face-to-face contact with Otis customers, travel between Dunedin, Queenstown & Invercargill as needed.
• Provide timely sales forecasts, risk reports and management updates.
• Engage with new installation customers to drive warranty conversions and expand the portfolio.

About You

We are currently looking for a sales-focused Service Account Representative based in Wellington, New Zealand. In this role, you would be responsible for growth of the Otis lift and escalator service business, along with existing portfolio management, and selling our value add products within the portfolio. You will be part of a close knit professional team of Account Managers in regions around the country, with a strong daily connection, a network of camaraderie and constant support. Great customer relationships are key with responsibility for some of our most important national business. Energetic, professionalism and strategic mindset are key to success in this role. You are excited about proactively maintaining face-to-face contact with Otis Customers. Your selling activities, including prospecting, presenting, proposing, tendering, securing, and processing, will meet the OTIS standards and customer requirements. Permanent/Full-Time role Reports to National Sales Manager – Service Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve Service sales targets for the portfolio – unit and revenue – growth.
• Provide daily, professional, value-based account management to all tiers of accounts in and around Wellington, including nationally significant Key Accounts.
• Achieve Service sales targets for transactional, value add products for safety, passenger experience and lift reliability.
• Proactively maintain regular face-to-face contact with Otis Customers within the portfolio, requiring travel between Dunedin, Queenstown & Invercargill.
• Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, and risk, and reports to management
• Proactively engage with our new installation customers to achieve 100% warranty conversions, and with prospective customers to expand the portfolio unit count and revenue base.
• Organise, prepare, and deliver customer presentations promoting the features and benefits of Otis’s products and services, resulting in direct sales with new and existing customers.
• Act as a facilitator between Otis Customers and the Otis Operations team, assisting with developing, implementing and communicating solutions to customers.
• Support the wider business requirements by identifying, actively introducing, and collaborating for Modernisation sales success within the portfolio.

What you will need to be successful

• Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Frontline Sales or Key Account Management.
• Hold a valid driver's license.
• It will be an added advantage if you have experience working in or closely within the elevator industry.
• Have strong business acumen, be results-driven and demonstrate a good understanding of the Wellington market.
• Be able to manage multiple accounts, be customer-focused, and anticipate client needs.
• You’re a self-starter and enjoy working both independently and in teams.
• You like to understand how things work and embrace new learning to pass on technical information reliably to Customers.
• Adept at using traditional and emerging business technologies equally (for data handling and analysis, communication and sales support) and ready to upskill at pace
• Strong communication skills with evidence of a strategic mindset, and bold ideas.
