Qualifications

• Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
• Full and Current Driver Licence, manual preferred.
• Minimum 4 years post graduate experience in mining engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee short term mine plans aligned to production targets and monthly plans.
• Review stope designs and drill & blast plans to support monthly targets.
• Monitor plan execution and adapt schedules to operational conditions.
• Apply Deswik skills to create and review mine designs and schedules.
• Support weekly/monthly plan delivery with operations and resolve execution challenges.
• Coach and develop a team of 3–4 engineers in planning and production.
• Ensure safety/process requirements and training for the team.
