Qualifikationen

• Commitment to give effect to Treaty of Waitangi principles.
• In-depth knowledge of District iwi context and Department obligations.
• Experience in statutory processes and implementation.
• High planning, strategic thinking and regulatory knowledge.
• Strong communication skills and ability to create clear, well written content from complex information.
• Collaborative mindset with proactive issue management and problem solving.
• Experience working with whānau, hapū and iwi with te ao Māori understanding and te reo me ōnā tikanga.

• Leading complex statutory work in relation to Korowai agreements and CMS requirements.
• Planning, monitoring and reporting on settlement obligations.
• Providing strategic advice to Operations and Statutory Manager on obligations, requirements, risks and issues.
• Preparing and managing agreements assigned by the Manager.
• Scope, plan, manage and deliver specific initiatives for the District.
