Job summary

Aurecon Group is seeking a structural engineer to design and analyse transmission towers and related overhead line structures, applying PLS-TOWER and PLS-POLE to deliver practical, high-quality solutions.

You will produce calculations, drawings and reports, contribute to technical reviews, and collaborate with electrical, civil and multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations to strengthen communities.

Qualifications

• Relevant structural engineering qualification and experience in transmission structure design.
• Hands-on experience using PLS-TOWER and PLS-POLE.
• Experience designing transmission towers, poles or overhead line structures.
• Evidence of completing structural designs, calculations, drawings and reports.
• Strong technical capability through industry experience and active design involvement.

What you’ll bring

• A relevant structural engineering qualification and demonstrated experience in transmission structure design
• Hands‑on professional experience using PLS-TOWER and PLS-POLE
• Experience designing transmission towers, poles or associated overhead line structures
• Evidence of personally completing structural designs, calculations, drawings and technical reports
• Strong technical capability developed through relevant industry experience and continued hands‑on design involvement
• The ability to contribute as a practising designer rather than solely in a management or coordination capacity
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
