The Audit Office is part of a constitutional framework designed to protect the financial integrity of New Zealand's system of government. It provides independent assurance to Parliament and the public that public organisations are operating and accounting for their performance as Parliament intended. We're looking for a permanent Senior Technical Lead, Cloud Platforms to lead the design, security, and performance of our Microsoft cloud platforms. This is a senior technical role focused on Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, automation, resilience, and continuous improvement in a cloud-first environment.
You’ll join an organisation with a strong public purpose, flexible hybrid working, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through modern, secure technology platforms. This role leads the delivery of secure, scalable cloud platforms — from engineering and improving CI/CD pipelines to supporting hybrid environments in production. You’ll take ownership of reliability, performance and security, ensuring our cloud services are robust, resilient and fit for purpose.
