The Lead Secondary Advisor (LSA) Te Ao Maori in the Ministry of Education is a permanent, full-time role based in Wellington. You will work within the Qualifications team to update NZC Te Reo Maori kaupapa, supporting NCEA and curriculum policy.

You will collaborate with the Principal Advisor Te Ao Maori, LSAs, and external partners to plan, develop and maintain resources, and contribute to ministerials, reports, and sector inquiries.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams and delivering outcomes.
• Strong ability to use data and insights to influence decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.

Responsabilités

• Provide advice on Te Ao Maori matters across NZC and NCEA products and resources.
• Develop and implement plans to complete projects efficiently and on time.
• Collaborate with LSAs, Senior Technical Writers and other teams to ensure consistency.
• Contribute to ministerials, reports, speeches and sector inquiries.
• Support broader qualifications work including NCEA and curriculum development.
