Qualifications

A leading organisation is seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to join their innovative team, where expertise in cyber security will play a vital role in shaping the future of their security landscape.

In this pivotal role, the Security Architect will focus on threat assessments, risk mitigation, and implementing robust controls to ensure that every new capability or technology adopted is secure and compliant within a highly regulated environment.

Success in this role will involve embracing hands-on project work, collaborating across departments, and guiding the organization’s security strategy under the Cyber and Protection area within Technology and Operations.

• This is an initial 6 month contract
• Attractive hourly rate

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture specializing in security
• A strong background in threat assessments and risk mitigation
• Proven ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
• Capacity to navigate a highly regulated enterprise environment while upholding security standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills, combining tactical execution with strategic oversight
• Ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholder

Cloud and security certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, CISA, AWS or Microsoft Azure certifications would also be advantageous. Experience working within a highly regulated environment, with knowledge of Australian financial services regulatory requirements such as APRA CPS 234, would be highly regarded.
