Public Trust is hiring a Senior Solicitor to support the Retail Legal team, based in Auckland or at other NZ offices. You will provide expert legal advice on wills, estates, trusts, conveyancing, and EPAs, while leading two solicitors and ensuring excellent client service.

You will be responsible for timely delivery of high-quality work, building strong stakeholder relationships, and contributing to a collaborative, performance-driven culture across Public Trust.

Formación

• LLB with at least 8 years PQE and 5 years in trusts and estates law required.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills essential.
• Experience leading and managing solicitors preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality legal advice on wills, estate administration, conveyancing, trusts, property orders and PPPR Act matters.
• Line-manage two solicitors based in Auckland.
• Maintain a customer-centred performance culture with high service standards.
• Undertake portfolio and other responsibilities as allocated by the General Counsel, Retail.
• Share best practices and collaborate across Public Trust for optimal outcomes.

Educación

LLB with at least 8 years PQE and 5 years in trusts and estates law

Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Leadership experience managing solicitors
