Vista Group is seeking a senior Full-Stack Software Engineer in Auckland, New Zealand. You will contribute to a key Operational Excellence squad, focusing on Angular 18+ and .NET 6+ while owning features from design to deployment.

The role emphasizes code quality, security, performance, test coverage, and collaboration across teams. You will mentor junior developers, participate in technical discussions, and help shape architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
• 8+ years' commercial software engineering experience
• Excellent English communication skills and attention to detail
• Experience with CI/CD technologies and platforms
• Familiarity with Angular 18+ and .NET 6+ stack

Job description

This is a senior level, full stack Software Engineer role, with a focus on Angular18+ and Net 6+, in one of our key Operational Excellence software engineering squads.

Contributing independently to features and systems, applying best practices and collaborating across teams, you’ll demonstrate ownership, technical depth, and initiative in improving product quality and team delivery. What you'll be doing

• Actively participate in team retrospectives, demos, and technical discussions

• Apply product knowledge in architectural decisions and problem-solving

About you

We’re looking for strong problem-solving skills and extensive experience in CI/CD technologies and platforms, including:

• Angular 18+, Typescript
• C# & .NET 6+
• 8+ years' commercial software engineering experience using the above technologies
• Docker, Kubernetes, Octopus
• SQL Server
• Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
• Excellent English communication skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
